Rejoice always, pray constantly, give thanks in everything; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. –1 Thessalonians 5:16–18
May the Lord direct your hearts to God's love and Christ's endurance. –2 Thessalonians 3:5
Paul’s letters to the church at Thessalonica are filled with rich theology and reliable counsel for living the Christian life. But each letter is also marked by words of deep affection from the apostle for his brothers and sisters in Christ. Paul wrote to encourage the Thessalonians to remain firm in their commitment to the gospel despite present persecution, remembering the work of Christ in the past and His promises for the future.
Join us as we spend three weeks reading these letters, finding renewed hope in the Spirit’s work to sustain us in every season as we eagerly await Christ’s return.
