In this five-week follow-up to This Is the Gospel, you will look at what it means to be the Church and live in response to the good news as a gospel community. This study takes a look not at specific denominational structures or practices, but at the broader conversation in Scripture about the nature, purpose, mission, and function of this unique and diverse body of believers united in Christ.

The book of Acts follows the early Church as it fulfills Jesus’s words, in spite of outside threats and persecution. This action-packed narrative is more than a historical account. It is the story of Jewish and Gentile believers learning how to live out the gospel together in community as the family of God. 

Over six weeks, you will read all twenty-eight chapters of the book of Acts. Join the journey from Jerusalem to Rome, deepening your understanding of the Holy Spirit’s presence in the body of Christ and God’s plan of salvation for the entire world.
